Just like me Erik has Danish roots although he never spend much time in my home country. I guess he has been too busy being an incarnated New Yorker. Erik has lived on MacDougal street in the Village for decades performing with some of the big folk heroes from the 60′s. I am extremely honored to have done this staircase session with him. He is an amazing performer.. with a hint of viking.
Erik about the song: There’s not much of a story…how it works theatrically is it’s sung by an old guy who don’t get to town much, but when he does, there goes the egg money.
